The Ministry of Education has worked with Public Health and the BCCDC to create a daily health check website and mobile app for students and their parents to complete before heading to school in the morning. A visual guide to understanding when your child should stay home during COVID-19
Willowstone Academy has put together an easy-to-use guide to help families answer the question, “should my child be staying home today?” in regards to COVID-19.

The CDC also states that if the staff or student (or their parent) indicates that the symptoms are consistent with a previously diagnosed health condition and are not unusual for that individual, they may return to school. No assessment or note is required from a health care provider.
